Acorn, one of the UK's leading recruitment and training specialists, which enjoyed a record £38.5m turnover in 2004/05, is targeting the North West of England to drive forward its next phase of growth.
The company, whose reputation has been built upon placing 'people' and 'professionalism' as central to its mission, is expanding its branch network by opening new premises in Runcorn, Cheshire, on Wednesday, November 2nd.
It will be the latest addition to Acorn's branches throughout Wales, the West Country, Edinburgh and Manchester. It also recently opened a new Wrexham branch to cover North East Wales and North West border.

"Following on from our recent successes in Wrexham and Manchester and in response to local employers' needs, Acorn is becoming increasingly well-known for delivering value-for-money recruitment and training services across a range of key market sectors."
The 250-strong company has secured premises at 81 High Street, Runcorn, for the branch.
The operation will service the large number of major employers seeking skilled and semi-skilled staff across the region, initially concentrating on commercial and technical vacancies.
Simon added, "For some time we have been looking carefully at a location for Acorn's first branch in the Runcorn area. The town is a perfect site because it is a busy, fast-growing town with superb access to the developing economy of the North West.
Simon added, ""It represents a major investment in premises and staff by Acorn and a move very much welcomed by the people and business in the area."
