Chippenham staff lead the way for Concept Staffing
The Chippenham branch of the South West’s leading recruitment agency has achieved the pick of the awards at the company’s annual sales conference after achieving its best ever record year.
Concept Staffing, part of the Acorn group, has 15 branches throughout the West Country and turns over £17 million a year. The conference, attended by all 60 Concept staff, was held in Tiverton and featured an award ceremony to acknowledge the company’s top achievers.
The staff at Concept’s Chippenham branch, based in The Market Place, were the undeniable winners; collecting the highest accolade of the six categories - Branch of the Year - as well as ‘Employee of the Year’ for newly-appointed branch manager Matt Phillips.
Matt, 38 from Marlborough, said: “I am delighted that our branch has received credit for the work we’ve done throughout the year. The results show for themselves how responsive we are to local companies’ recruitment needs and ensuring we place the most appropriate candidates for both temporary and permanent positions.
“Working with Concept Staffing for nearly 4 years, I am overwhelmed to be named Employee of the Year, and I’m looking forward to defending both titles at next year’s conference!”
The Chippenham branch has an annual turnover of £1million, and boasts a 100% fill rate with no lost clients. The branch places over 70 temporary workers into positions with companies in the Chippenham area every day.
