Concept’s future looking Rosie in Exeter
Leading West Country recruitment specialist Concept Staffing has appointed a new manager for their Exeter branch.
Rosie Morris, 30, has worked for Concept for five years as manager of their largest branch in Tiverton. During that time she was named Branch Manager of the Year for two consecutive years (2007 and 2008) and ensured her branch won Branch of the Year in 2007.
Rosie’s plan for the Exeter branch is to replicate the success of Tiverton in delivering the Concept promise; providing bespoke packages specific to individual client needs.
Rosie, who lives in Exeter, said: “My immediate aim is to continue to grow what has already been a very profitable branch in 2009. Alongside our current specialisms of public sector, industrial, driving, administration, commercial and engineering, I want to focus on both the legal and accountancy sectors.
“The Exeter Branch is currently one of the market leaders in the supply of both temporary and permanent staff to clients within the city, not least because of long term exclusive contracts to provide Exeter City Council and Devon County Council with all of their temporary labour.”
Paul McCormick, Head of Contracts and Direct Services, Exeter City Council said: “Concept Staffing was appointed as the Council’s master vendor for the provision of agency staff following a rigorous procurement process. Throughout the evaluation of their proposal they impressed the Council officers with their commitment, enthusiasm and knowledge. Since commencing the contract they have proved to be a valuable partner.”
Celebrating more than 20 years in business, Concept finds jobs for up to 1,000 people with more than 500 different clients each week. It turns over £17 million annually and is part of the Acorn Group.
Noel Hoare, area sales manager for Concept, said: “Rosie has been with us for five years and has proven how well she can run a successful team with the excellent results she gained with the Tiverton branch. We know she has big plans for Exeter and we’re really excited to see how she advances over the next few months.”
