The Right Concept for Tyco
SPECIALIST West Country recruitment company Concept Staffing, which is part of the Acorn Group, has renewed a contract to supply Tyco Electronics UK – the global provider of engineered electronic components – with temporary workers for the next two years.
Concept has been supplying staff to the electronics company since April 2003, and has recently had the contract renewed for a further 24 months making them Tyco Electronic’s sole supplier of temporary workers. They will continue to supply unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled temporary industrial labour as well as office-based workers.
Tyco Electronics established more than 50 years ago, has a turnover of $14billion (£8.6billion) a year and serves in excess of 150 countries worldwide. Their site in Bideford in Devon currently has 95 temporary workers from Concept.
The Plant Manager at the Tyco Electronics Bideford site Lindy Stacey said: We are delighted to continue to work with Concept for another two years. We have a good working relationship which enables Concept to tailor their service to our particular business needs.

Together as part of the Acorn Group, the company finds jobs for up to 6000 temps with more than 850 different clients each week, and also delivers training to more than 3,000 individuals and makes 1,500 permanent placements every year.
