Rail workers get a head of steam for five-a-side
Two of Wales’s most successful firms are giving their backing to a football tournament dedicated to rail industry workers.
Recruitment and training leader Acorn and Track Safe Telecom, the industry leader for rail industry telecoms and safety services, is hosting the South Wales Rail Industry five-a-side Tournament next month.
It will be staged at the Eastern Leisure Centre in Cardiff on Wednesday, October 10th. Previous winners include Balfour Beatty, Amey Rail and Carillion.
There will be 8 teams participating on the night, split into two groups of four. Each squad of seven players is guaranteed 4 games and there will be a buffet held afterwards for spectators and players.
