Woodspring League team Priory Rangers Junior FC is decked out in a stylish new kit, thanks to a sponsorship deal with the Thornbury, Bristol, office of recruitment and training company Acorn.
The Under-13s team is based at Priory School, Worle, and is one 10 age group teams run by the club, from 8-years-old right the way through to 16 years.
Under 13s Manager Chris Whittle said, “We play games on Sunday mornings and travel as far as Burnham to the south and Portishead/ Pill to the north. This kit deal with Acorn is fantastic and a real boost for the boys at the start of the season.”
Acorn branch manager Debbie Cole said, “We pride ourselves in our involvement in community and sporting activities in all the regions in which we operate. We’re delighted that the boys will be wearing our name with pride this season.”
Established in 1992, Acorn has branches across South Wales, the West Country, North Wales and the North West of England. It reported a turnover of £42m last year, a figure that will increase to circa £65m this year. It employs around 260 staff.
