Leading Gloucestershire recruitment consultants to spearhead Acorn's growth in the region

Acorn, one of the UK’s fastest growing recruitment and training companies, has appointed two of Gloucestershire’s most experienced recruitment consultants to lead its growth in the region.
Nikki Overbury has been appointed Branch Manager of Acorn’s branch in Eastgate Street, Gloucester, which provides temporary and permanent staff to a wide range of employers in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester and nearby towns.
She has been joined by Sales Consultant Caroline Murray. Both have joined from an international recruitment company who merged their Cheltenham and Gloucester branches. Nikki having been branch manager for more than seven years and Caroline a sales consultant for one year.
Acorn Regional Manager Maria Evans said, “Nikki and Caroline are two of the most experienced and able recruitment specialists in the region and we are clearly delighted that they have agreed to join Acorn.
“The branch has enjoyed a great start since it opened at the beginning of 2007 and with Nikki and Caroline now on board, it is poised for further significant growth in the years ahead.”
Nikki, who lives in Hucclecote, Gloucester, added, “Acorn is an ambitious UK company which also prides itself on delivering great local services, so for Caroline and I the company offers us a great opportunity to continue to serve a market we know so well.
“We are offering commercial and industrial placements at all levels of staff, from factory operatives to office staff and other skilled positions. We’re also harnessing Acorn’s experience in the permanent placement market.”
Acorn earlier this year acquired leading North West of England recruitment firm Advance Personnel. Acorn has a turnover of circa Ł65m and has branches and training centres throughout Wales, England and Scotland.
