Wales Millennium Centre and Acorn forge new partnership

The world-renowned Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) has agreed a groundbreaking recruitment and training agreement with Wales’ leading recruitment and training group.
WMC, which opened in 2004 in Cardiff Bay and has established a reputation as one of the world’s iconic arts and cultural destinations, has signed the business partnership deal with Acorn.
Established in Newport, South Wales, in 1992, Acorn has grown to become Wales’ largest recruitment and training provider with branches across Wales, the South West, Northern England and Scotland.
The agreement sees Acorn become the latest Corporate Member of the iconic Centre and places Acorn as a provider of recruitment and training services to WMC.
Dan Langford, Group Marketing & Communications Director at Acorn, said, “This is a partnership of two leading Welsh organisations.
“Acorn has long been a supporter of charities, communities, education and sport in Wales; therefore we are delighted to extend our commitment into the arts for the first time by becoming a Corporate Member of the wonderful Wales Millennium Centre.”
Judith Isherwood, Chief Executive of WMC, added, “We’re delighted that Acorn has chosen to work in partnership with the Centre, yet another leading Welsh brand that has seen the benefit of associating itself with one of the world’s premier arts institutions, and we very much welcome them on board.”
