Acorn expands in Gloucester with key appointments
The fast-growing Gloucester office of UK recruitment and training company Acorn has been boosted by the appointment of two new senior technical recruitment consultants.
Experienced technical and engineering recruitment specialists Alan Tocknell and Daniel Taylor have joined Acorn’s offices in Eastgate Street from a local recruitment company office in the area.
Alan Tocknell, Senior Technical Consultant, has been a recruitment professional for five years, specialising in the telecoms, defence, oil and gas, nuclear, and marine sectors.
“Joining Acorn presents a tremendous opportunity to be part of an expanding and ambitious UK company. I look forward to helping ensure the Acorn name becomes the leading recruitment provider in the Gloucester area,” he said.
Previous to recruitment, he spent many years as a professional drummer and is also an accomplished drum designer in his spare time.
Daniel Taylor has two years in the recruitment sector and previously worked alongside Alan in the Gloucester area.
Acorn’s branch in Gloucester provides temporary and permanent staff to a wide range of employers in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester and nearby towns.
