Partnership by design boost for recruitment specialist Acorn
Acorn, the leading recruitment and training agency in Wales, has formed a new partnership with Powell Dobson, the 150-strong Cardiff-based architectural practice.
The arrangement will see Acorn appointed preferred provider of recruitment services to the award-winning Powell Dobson Architects, which has offices in St Mellons, Cardiff; SA1 Swansea; and Kew, London.
Acorn will advise and manage nationwide recruitment assignments across all staff levels for Powell Dobson as the practice continues to grow on the back of a string of prestigious commissions.
Mark Skinner, Head of Acorn’s Architecture Recruitment Division, said, “This is a fantastic result for Acorn to work with an established, quality practice while demonstrating our commitment to developing a portfolio of specialist recruitment services.”
Tim Percival, Managing Director of Powell Dobson Architects, added, “The existence of a dedicated architectural division within Acorn proved a great attraction for us. This agreement brings together two of the most successful Welsh companies in their respective fields.”
Powell Dobson Architects is headed by 13 directors. Now in its fifth decade, the practice has developed, within its organisation, such disciplines as urban design and interior design to complement its already established and recognised architectural skills.
