Terrific trio win awards at Concept Staffing
Three North Devon workers have picked up top awards for their commitment to their jobs.
Barnstaple factory worker Tom Jewell, Barnstaple call centre worker Amanda Marsden and Bideford electronics company worker Lesley Cook have been recognised by South West recruitment specialist Concept Staffing.
Tom and Amanda have been named Temps of the Quarter by Concept’s Barnstaple branch after earning praise from employers Hobart Manufacturing and Carrier Direct Marketing.
Terry Churchill, Production Manager said Tom has been with Hobart now for sometime and continues to be a reliable, hard working member of the team. Despite some illness earlier this year Tom has continued to perform at the high level needed to achieve production and quality targets.
Mandy Bishop, Contact Centre Manager, at Carrier Direct Marketing recommended Amanda Marsden for the award.
Amanda is always smiling, cheerful, has a lovely telephone manner and has become a valuable member of the team, she said.
Lesley has been named Temp of the Quarter by Concept’s Bideford branch after earning praise from her employer Tyco.
Alan Mock, supervisor at Tyco Electronics, praised Lesley’s contribution. Lesley is very popular in the factory and leads the shift that she works, always going above and beyond her role in the interest of the factory.
Lesley has worked at Tyco Electronics for around 10 years and is greatly appreciated there as Concept Staffing’s longest standing employee.”
