Acorn’s specialist Security Division is a provider of bespoke security services for businesses of all sizes predominantly in the South East of Wales (Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow and the surrounding areas).

In response to the demands of our customers, particularly those in the steel, construction and logistics industries, Acorn has developed a service which extends beyond the traditional security guard.
With a blend of security, military and recruitment skills we deliver high level service across the country to our clients.
The Division is headed up by an experienced Management team including an Ex Major of the Queens Gurkha Engineers. Acorn has been working closely with the Ex Gurkhas for the past three years and has enjoyed great success in the South Wales areas across many different employment fields placing circa 200 Ex Gurkhas.
Many Gurkhas retrain when they are coming up to retirement from the forces in security and due to their military background become very competent guards.
We currently supply SIA qualified Ex Queens Gurkha Engineers as well as local SIA qualified local guards to the Steel Industry, Private 24hr Office cover and the Construction Industry.
Our personnel are highly trained and well able to deal with the demanding security environment, allowing you to concentrate on your core business.
