This festive season leading recruitment agency Acorn has collected over 1,000 gifts for the Salvation Army to give to underprivileged children throughout the country.
All donations came from Acorn’s employees, partners, clients and job seekers across the UK, in the hope that they will make a significant difference to someone’s Christmas.
Maria Larcombe, Director of Operations at Acorn said: “As always we were overwhelmed with the support we received from staff, clients and candidates and would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who contributed.”
“The Salvation Army is one of many charities we work with as we have great relationships with St David’s Hospice, Ty Hafan, The Wallich, Action for Children and many more. It’s important to us that we work with local and national charities, and we’re always so impressed by the support, generosity and enthusiasm of everyone we work with.”
2017 has been a tremendous year for Acorn having just opened four new branches in Baglan, Bridgwater, Bournemouth and Manchester following employer demands, and they have just won ‘Recruiter of the Year’ at the national IRP recruitment awards.
