Write the job description / liaise with line managers or provide the initial brief to Acorn.
Write the job advert that will generate the right response and post the ad to specialist job boards.
Engage on social media and relevant forums to promote the job opportunity to the right people (active and passive job seekers).
Create a bespoke marketing campaign to increase the reach of your job opportunity and attract the right people.
Monitor advert responses regularly to ensure you don’t miss out on the right candidate, screen CVs and reply to all applicants.
Continue engaging on relevant social, forum and event platforms to reach the right audience.
Contact shortlisted candidates for an initial telephone screen.
Repeat many of the above activities every week – e.g. continue engagement on certain platforms, monitor responses, review and re-post the job ad (approx. 11 hours x 4).
Conduct first stage interviews (4 candidates).
Provide feedback to the individual candidates and arrange second stage interviews.
Conduct 2nd stage interviews (2 candidates).
Communicate to all involved - liaise with successful candidate - manage counter-offers, salary negotiations and arrange start dates.
Continue contact with new employee during notice period.
