So what will I be doing?
As an Engineer you will be joining the Engineering team in a distinctive, ambitious and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Forever. Working closely with the wider engineering team members the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and that production can be carried out using the machinery in the most effective and efficient manner in accordance with policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and plant across the site in Newton Abbot
Minimising down time and fault finding on a range of machinery in a fast paced and large-scale manufacturing environment
Assisting with root cause analysis, continuous improvement and general daily operational efficiencies
Assisting with project work as and when required including the introduction of new plant and equipment
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
Experience of working within a manufacturing or processing environment
An appropriate Engineering qualification
Demonstrable knowledge of relevant mechanical and electrical theory and application
Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
A good standard of numeracy, literacy and Microsoft Office
18th Edition Electrical qualification is preferred
