Acorn Recruitment require Timber Frame Operatives in Neath

Our client is one of Wales leading timer frame / modular manufactures. Due to company expansion they have opportunities for operatives to join their Team.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Reading design drawings
• Measuring timber lengths
• Selecting correct timber and using basic hand tools to assemble
• Operate machinery ( full training to be given )
• Follow health and safety procedures

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Previous experience in similar work shop / production environment
• Previous experience using basic hand tools
• Previous Carpentry or Joinery experience (desirable)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Be a team player

Working hours - Working 6:00am to 6:00pm on a shift rota. Will be required to work everyother weekend. Extra hours avaliable if wanted.

Rate of pay - £8.72ph PAYE with a £55 bonus for working a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday.

Duration - Initially 3 months work, but could be longer term for right candidates.
