Job Description

Acorn Recruitment is looking to recruit a Spares Parts Controller in Port Talbot.

Salary: £11.57 p/h

We are looking for a highly organised, conscientious individual to join our client on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Main Duties

  • Support The Purchasing Manager / Officer in the negotiation of Prices in accordance with the Group guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure the efficient and smooth running of all administrative processes related to the purchase and procurement of spare parts
  • Ensure correct management and control of stock the Spare Parts Warehouse, maintaining the planned stock
  • Liaise with accounts department to resolve queried invoices
  • Constantly promote a safe working practice

Experience / requirements

  • Guarantee a correct and efficient development of administrative processes concerning activities related to the purchase and procurement of spare parts
  • Guarantee an efficient and correct management of the Spare Parts Warehouse, maintaining the planned stock
  • Constantly guarantee the inventory stock
  • Ensure the compliance with the Group's guidelines and procedures for the relevant activities
  • Support the Purchasing Manager / Officer in the management of relationships with suppliers
  • Support the Purchasing Manager / Officer in the negotiation of prices and purchasing conditions in accordance with the Group guidelines and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Office for the problems in the purchase invoicing
  • Promote a safety-bound corporate culture
  • Apply the Corporate Principles and Value

Hours of work - 42 per week
