Content Marketing Specialist

An exceptionally desirable position for a Global Content Marketing Specialist has arisen for one of the leaders in the Life Sciences Industry.


As a Content Marketer, you will be responsible for articulating and expanding upon the value proposition of products by developing and producing valuable, high quality content that will be deployed through multiple channels in the marketing mix. That will engage and nurture interest and lead to the creation of qualified leads.


Main Duties:

  • Manage the production of high quality content for internal and external consumption that effectively articulates the benefits and true value of our products. This includes sell/data sheets, web pages, application notes, webinars, white papers, product presentations, conference presentations and posters, publications in technical media, other internal training material, and where appropriate, video. This work will involve close collaboration with content marketing colleagues, respective global product manager and other subject matter experts, portfolio and field marketing leaders. You will need to understand the role of each piece of content in the buyer journey
  • Liaise where appropriate with 3rd party vendors including technical authors design agencies, and translation houses, managing projects in line with defined scope, timelines and budget
  • Collaborate as part of a team for the creation of impactful global marketing campaigns that can be deployed through multiple channels (web, digital, print, sales teams and events) which support key launches, generate leads and support the strategic direction, collaborating across portfolios as required
  • Manage and update content and provide support for current and legacy products of the portfolio

Position Competencies:


Essential:

  • Educated to university degree level
  • Minimum of 2-3 year experience in a content marketing or related position
  • Highly proficient communicator, with an excellent standard of written English
  • Proven track record of project management with the ability to lead, prioritise and close multiple projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of scientist engineers, marketers and third party vendors
  • Results-driven with a high attention to detail and compliance to quality management procedures
  • Creative thinker
  • Familiar with the creative design process
  • Good IT skills


Desirable:

  • Familiar with bio-pharmaceutical industry
  • Additional marketing qualification
