Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Document Controller for one of the leaders in the Life Sciences Industry.

Producing the documentation required for all products, spare kits and manufacturing kits within Biotech Equipment Solutions portfolio of products.

This is a temporary role to last until at least Christmas and potentially beyond due to an increase in demand within the documentation team.

Knowledge & Key Skills:

* Microsoft packages - Word & Excel

* PC literate - use of editing and scanning software would be a benefit

* Knowledge of Lotus Notes Databases is advantageous

* Self-motivated to work to and manage schedules and deadlines

* Good administrative and organisational skills * Attention to detail

Essential Qualifications/Education:

* Good standard of English language

Previous Experience:

* Working with databases

* Producing protocols

* Scanning and annotating certificates

* Photocopying

* Compiling project folders and checking complete documents

MAIN DUTIES:

* Producing and collating Documentation packs for all BES products.

* Co-ordinating and implementing process improvements to the documentation

* Producing Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test protocols using standard documents in SmartSolve

* Scanning and annotating certificates

* Photocopying documents

* Compiling Documentation Packs Physical/electronic and checking complete documents

* Archiving of Product folders

* Field general documentation queries (written & verbal) from internal/external customers

. * General Administration work

OTHER DUTIES

* Adhoc duties as directed by Senior Project Engineer/Manager

General Health and Safety:

To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Health & Safety Policy.

To keep your work area tidy and free from hazards.

To make a positive contribution to house keeping.

Report and address any safety defects.

The hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3:30pm Friday.
