Acorn is currently recruiting Contact Advisors to support all Local Authorities in Gwent and Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to deliver the Gwent Contact Tracing Service on a full time basis.
The successful candidates will be required to work from home but occasionally will be required to go to the offices in Ystrad Mynach, often at short notice, so must live locally and be able to get there within 1 hour.
The business requirement will involve working on a rota basis covering Monday - Sunday between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00, including bank holidays - the shift patterns will be:
Early: 8am - 4pm.
Late: 12pm - 8pm
Minimum relevant Level 2 qualification on National Framework i.e. Business Administration, Customer Services, IT and have evidence of qualification
Proven experience in making high volume outbound calls and excellent administration skills/ logging data
As a member of the contact tracing team you will be:
Undertaking the initial interview of COVID-19 positive cases and/or contacts by phone;
Identifying and following up with contacts and providing public health advice (where appropriate);
Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of information from those interviews using systems provided.
