Financial Analyst required to join one of the most influential and exciting Finance Departments in Wales… an exciting opportunity to begin a diverse finance role in a fast-paced environment. The business is embarking on an exciting new journey for Wales that will transform our transport network for years to come.
The purpose of this role is to offer support to the wider finance team in a very busy time. This role will be suited to someone able to generate their own ideas to improve existing processes. Working to support different functions you'll gain excellent exposure to a variety of tasks.

What you will be doing…
*Your support will be needed throughout the finance department so you'll get to work with different teams and report into a number of departments
*Conduct extensive cost analysis
*Maintain existing finance models & continuously offer ideas of improvement
*Provide support in management accounting & treasury
*Reconciliation of loan accounts
*Setup reporting in Excel
What we're looking for:
*Applicants should hold a degree in a finance subject OR part-qualified through professional accounting qualification
*Should have experience (or passion) for providing financial expertise to an accounting team
*Ability to complete reconciliation, cost analysis and reporting
*Strong Excel skills including vLookup & Pivot Tables
*A competitive salary between £20,000 - £25,000
