£23,033 pa plus an excellent benefits package
We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator with a keen eye for detail. The preferred candidate will have significant payroll experience, excellent IT skills, especially with Excel and experience in statutory deductions.
You will be responsible for a monthly payroll for up to 650 members of staff, using the HR system Civica.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Payroll team of 4, sitting in a wider HR office of 15 staff. There is a fantastic and friendly team atmosphere. Perks can include excellent holiday entitlement and some flexibility with hours.
*Ensuring correct understanding and application of relevant statutory schemes,
legislation, policies and procedures, conditions of service and dispensations agreed
by the Inland Revenue and other relevant regulations.
*Delivery of monthly Payroll of 650 employees using Civica (formerly Carval).
*Being a point of contact for all payroll queries.
*Undertaking all standard payroll duties including: new starter and leaver
administration, overtime payments, expenses, absences, pay
increments, deductions etc.
*Processing large amounts of data with accuracy and confidentiality.
*Administration of overpayments.
*Raising invoices on debtors system.
*Produce ad hoc reports on payroll and HR data.
What you need:
*Experience in a similar role.
*Confidence using Excel.
*The ability to concentrate on large sets of data and maintaining accuracy.
*Payroll qualification preferred but not essential
