Testing, testing, is this thing on?
You'd look a right buffoon if you went on stage without the microphone being tested and fit for purpose, so why would you do it with military equipment?
Why would you potentially put lives in danger due to faults? You wouldn't, would you?
Military equipment is quite literally life and death. If a system fails to work at a key moment, you're dead. If a weapon misfires or misinterprets a target, someone else is dead incorrectly, and then you're in a room full of unhappy individuals demanding an explanation. Not a nice situation to be in.
Testing PCB's, wiring, systems integration and overall functionality therefore, is paramount to this role in Plymouth.
In fact, ensuring test equipment works would be a good start.
If you have the key elements and have conducted this form of testing before, this role offers a very competitive salary, pretty good benefits package and, more importantly, some very, VERY interesting and unique work.
If you haven't conducted this sort of role before, then people's lives could be in danger.
Be that person who know's what they're doing.
Be that person who helps ensure others stay alive.
