Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Wiltshire area for a full-time Azure / Office365 Technical 3rd Line Support Engineer.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced 3rd line IT Support Engineer to become the next integral part of a rapidly expanding team and business. Working as a key escalation point for the Service Desk team, while incorporating exciting opportunities for project and infrastructure work.

Seeking a proven technical professional, equipped with the skills and ability to deliver service at the extremely high standard. An enthusiastic "can do" individual who will be a welcomed addition to a positive team in a great environment. You will have the willingness to learn from others and educate the more junior members of the team, while striving to benefit and add value for customers.

Essentials skills / experience

*Exceptional customer service skills
*Experience working on a service desk to include incident, problem and change management Methodical approach to problem-solving
*Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019
*Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
*Experience of working within an IT Security framework
*Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 & Azure
*Managing wired and wireless networks, including switches, routers, firewalls
*Technical backup and disaster recovery

Desirable Skills

* Pre-sales consultancy experience (scoping, design, deployment & tenders)
* Microsoft Azure / Office 365 / Modern Desktop certifications
* Advanced networking, VLANs, STP, LACP
* Secure networking, VPNs, ACL, IPS, IDS
* SonicWALL security appliances
* Microsoft SQL, Power BI, Data Visualisation
* Penetration Testing / Vulnerability Scanning

37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday , due to the nature of the job some work at weekends and outside of normal hours may be required.

Travel to customer sites will be required so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
