We are looking for a legal Assistant to join the conveyancing department within an ambitious law firm in Pontypridd / Cardiff.
The legal Assistant will provide support to the fee earners enabling them to operate efficiently, as well as various other accountabilities and responsibilities within the law firm. This job role entails using a high degree of self-management and strong initiative.
Key Responsibilities include:
*The legal assistant will be responsible for administering filing systems including daily filing as well as opening/closing/storage and retrieving client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual
*Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining a diary for the partner
*To attend to clients both in person and on the phone and to provide such communication in a professional and friendly manner.
Essential Experience Required:
*At least one year residential conveyancing experience
*Must be competent in Microsoft Office, word and excel
*Experience in diary management and customer service, a confident communicator and excellent telephone manner
*Satisfaction of being part of a successful team at a top 100 UK conveyancing practise.
