Job Description
A rare home based opportunity has arisen to provide support in all aspects of ESFA funding - administration, regulation and implementation both internally and externally with employers.

The role is based in the Finance Department and will cover a broad variety of tasks providing

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Responsible for the creation and monitoring of employer/Provider contracts
* Work with employers to facilitate the DAS system for apprentices, ensuring that the data is accurate and timely
* Provide funding and reconciliation reporting as required
* Generate error reports and work with Business Support Manager to enable timely upload of funding data to the DAS system
* Ensure that all ESFA returns are completed accurately and on time
* Use DSATS and other tools to check and maintain ILR data
* Periodically review ESFA funding claims and related audit reports to ensure compliance with regulations
* Provide initial analysis of data in relation to apprenticeship funding
* Work with finance to create and process invoices for co-funding for clients, ensuring timely payment
* Work with finance to monitor and process employer incentive payment, ensuring timely payment
* Attend funding related external conferences/webinars as required and provide knowledge transfer back into the organisation
* Highlight any funding issues to the Finance Manager to ensure compliance against ESFA funding rules

Experience / Qualifications Required:

* Knowledge and Understanding of Apprenticeship Funding Rules and Responsibilities
* Working knowledge of Maytas/Smart Assessor/DAS/IDAMS system desirable

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong numerical and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
* Good time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary
* Excellent multi-tasker

Monday to Friday home working salary up to £32,000 possibly more for the right expertise
