This is the chance for a family lawyer to help shape the division and really make it their own. This is a firm that can offer strong progression and the chance to independently run a high value and quality case load.

This is a long-term and strategic appointment, the role will predominantly be dealing with a mixture of children cases, divorce, separation, and property disputes. The focus is mainly high value private work and be a chance for someone with experience to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities include:

* Dealing with divorce and separation cases involving financial and children's matters.
* Financial matters will include pensions, businesses, investments, property portfolios.
* Children matters will include things like child arrangement disputes, and international relocation.

Essential experience:

* Previous experience in dealing with financial and children matters.
* Proven experience in dealing with clients, the ability to be understanding and empathetic and explain legal jargon to the lay person.
* Strong experience in negotiations.

Desirable experience:

* Strong academic record.
* Experience using Case Management Systems, with good IT skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
