Acorn Recruitment is recruiting for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our client, a leader in critical ventilation solutions for the healthcare industry.
Covering the UK, the purpose of the role is to keep critical ventilation systems compliant and operational, providing a safe environment for outstanding patient care, reducing operating costs and environmental impact.
Duties will include:
Working with local trusts and facilities management companies on pre-planned maintenance plans, carrying out minor and major work, verification, validations and commissioning of new units and aftercare of equipment.
Whilst on site, advise clients of additional works which can be undertaken and liaise with head office staff for issue of quotations etc.
Variations of equipment to be serviced and installed includes: Hot Wire Anenometer, Vane Anenometer, Micromanometer, Digital Particle Counter, Smoke Generator, Photometer, Balometer.
Electrical / control biased, the successful candidate must have previous experience within the critical ventilation industry and have knowledge and understanding of the HTM standards. Candidates must be able to commit to staying away from home. Own kit and van is provided therefore a full driving licence is essential.
Hours of work are 5 days from 7 which includes weekends using a rota system.
Salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience to offer.
