Acorn Recruitment is looking for an AAT Level 3 Accounts Assistant for a 9 month fixed-term maternity cover contract based in Thornbury. This is a part-time position for a minimum of 18 hours per week.
Hourly rate would be £12.82.
The successful candidate will have:
* Substantial accounts experience
* SAGE 50 experience
* AAT level 3
* Credit control experience
* Good knowledge of Microsoft office - Word, Excel, Email (Outlook)
* Confident telephone skills
* Excellent time management and personal organisation skills
The role includes the following tasks:
* Invoice processing
* Credit control
* Solving general accounts queries
* Recurring entries
* Process expenses and business card
* Enter payments received.
* Send sales statements monthly.
* Check and enter direct debit payments.
* Check purchase statements against invoices received.
* Weekly check of all credits and debits into Sage
* Preparation of bank reconciliation monthly
* CIS administration
* Vehicle leases
* General support to Finance Director
