Acorn by Synergie is looking for an FLT Counterbalance Driver / Production Operative for their client, based on Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn.


As part of this job role, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the requirements, but will include:

* Moving pallets from the bays to the correct line
* General FLT and warehouse duties
* Keeping the lines supplied with raw materials
* Operating the bailing machine
* Ensuring all waste is removed safely and swiftly from the production area
* Operation of the recycling machines


Requirements:

* You must have a RTITB or ITSSAR counterbalance licence refreshed within the last 3 years
* Have the ability to handle raw material. Some heavy lifting may be required
* Be able to work on your own or as part of a team with minimal supervision
* Have a keen eye for detail, be flexible, practical, hardworking and able to work under own initiative


Hours of work:

* 4 on 4 off (two 12-hour days, followed by two 12-hour nights)
* 1-hour paid break
* Overtime hours are also available


Initial training will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Rate of pay: £12 per hour, this will increase on the 1st of April to £12.92 per hour

The role will initially be on an ongoing, temporary basis, but may lead to permanent positions for the successful candidates.
