Accounts Assistant
Location: Head Office - Leeds
Hours: 37.5
Salary: £22,000 - £23,500 per annum
Job Description:
* Required to organise and prepare payment runs and ad-hoc payment requests
* Lease system admin
* Online banking administration
* Allocation of sales and purchase ledger payments
* Assisting with organising and reviewing of company car purchases/hire agreements
* Regular liaison with management and colleagues across all our 16 UK and Ireland depots
* Maintaining and developing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
* Undertaking general administration tasks and providing support across the team when necessary, including some ledger work
Requirements:
* Studying or wanting to study a Financial qualification
* Ideally be of graduate level, or have strong accounts/administration experience in a busy office environment
* Have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, including look ups and pivot tables
* Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional and persuasive telephone manner
* A keen eye for detail, including data input/order processing skills
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment
