Acorn is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for a Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk within the sales and purchasing department.
This is a permanent position for a well known Steelworks Subcontractor based in Port Talbot Steelworks.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
Salary between £20,000 to £22,000 per annum.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and own transport due to the location of the site. Computer skills are essential and experience of using Opera is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties will include:
* Posting purchase invoices
* Raising and matching purchase orders
* Delivery notes and purchase invoices and supplier statement reconciliation
You will also be required to add up sales time sheets, assist the purchasing and sale team as required, answer telephone calls and carrying out general ad hoc tasks as and when required and providing holiday cover when needed.
