Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for a Purchase Ledger and Administration Clerk within the maintenance and purchasing department.
This is a permanent position for a well-known Steelworks Subcontractor based in Port Talbot Steelworks.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
Salary between £22,000 to £25,000 per annum. This role can also be split between 2 people working 3 days per week in either department.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and own transport due to the location of the site. Computer skills are essential and experience of using Opera is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties will include posting purchase invoices, raising and matching purchase orders, delivery notes and purchase invoices, data entry onto spreadsheets and general stock takes. You will also be required to assist the purchasing and maintenance teams as required, answer telephone calls and carry out general ad hoc tasks as and when required and provide holiday cover when needed.
