Duties:
* Learning the plant equipment and operation
* Assisting Fault finding and diagnosis on control systems and equipment
* Follow company standard procedures regarding health and safety, food safety.
* Assist Engineering to carry out repairs during PPM & breakdowns
* Assisting with installations and minor repairs (Electrical/Plumbing/Refrigeration/pneumatics)
* Good communication skills with colleagues and other departments, reporting and maintenance record keeping.
* Always follow and promote a safe working environment.
* Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE properly used and maintained.
* Fully Understand and always adhere to the Company's Equality & Diversity Policy
* All employees must conduct themselves in accordance with our employee handbook and core Company Values.
* Be flexible with hours / able to work 2 out of 4 weekends every month.

Previous experience in any or some of the following areas are desirable:
* Automation
* Mechanical maintenance
* Conveyor systems
* Control systems
* Electrical systems
* Electrical installation/maintenance
* Hand tools
* Power tools
* Fault Finding
Must have UK valid Driving Licence/Bike licence (or working towards)
