Title: Technical Analyst - 1st-Line Engineer
Location: Bristol, Yate (Office based)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week / Monday-Friday
£20,000 - £24,000
An exciting and progressive opportunity has arisen with our client in their Bristol- Yate office.
Acorn Technology is currently searching for an enthusiastic First-Line Engineer, with a drive to learn and develop. Our client is a developing managed service provider, with a drive and passion to build a centre of excellence within the Bristol Yate area. They offer award-winning consulting, cloud hosting and managed IT services to a range of clients, with offices across the UK. They are passionate about what they do and offer a collaborative environment to work within, with continuous upskilling and clear career pathways.
As a First-Line Engineer, you will be working within the service desk, providing timely service and solutions to clients, you will be the point of contact for customers via phone, email and portal, resolving issues and escalating any tickets that require more in-depth analysis through to second and third-line team members.
Some experience in one or more of the following tools and technologies:
* Firewall management
* Active directory
* Root cause analysis and ticketing systems
* Office 365
* Router configurations
* Remote support tools i.e. RDP and Team viewer
