Welder Fabricator
Location: Caerphilly
Contract type: Temporary, ongoing
Pay: £12.50 - £14 per hour (DOE)

Due to continued growth, one of the UK's leading fencing and guarding manufacturers has a number of Skilled Welder/Fabricator vacancies. This client is seeking candidates with good all-round knowledge of fabrication and fitting techniques using a range of materials. Skills to include reading engineering and hand-drawn sketches, MIG welding, TIG welding (preferable but not essential) using a guillotine and semi-automatic saws.

Skills required:

* Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches and documentation
* Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision, timely and with accuracy
* Previous experience in welding/fabrication is essential
* Work with precision components and tolerances
* MIG is the main form of welding but TIG Welding skills would be advantageous
* Work to a high standard
* Work unassisted and be able to work on your own initiative, under minimal supervision
* Work under pressure ensuring time scales are achieved and deadlines are met
