Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias - Permanent Nights)
Sunday-Thursday - 22:00 - 06:00

We have an excellent opportunity available for an Electrical Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join an organisation that can offer more than just a job; if you want to be part of the further exciting growth plans, then look no further!

As an Engineer you will be joining a site which has undergone a huge development to expand and incorporate state of the art machinery.

Successful Shift Engineer will be part of an engineering team delivering PMIs on the machines whilst delivering a world class engineering support service across the site. This will include attending breakdowns and other engineering activities as required.

Duties of Shift Engineer:

* Ensure PMI activities are carried out effectively and efficiently
* Carry out requests from lead engineers/operational team leaders
* Planned maintenance, inspection and continuous improvement of electrical systems
* Attending breakdowns in timely manner
* Ongoing project work
* Support and maintenance of all equipment
* Assisting the mechanical engineers where needed
* Identifying spare parts
* Communicating with machine manufacturers
* Ensure all parts used or required are reported to the PMI lead Engineer or Engineering purchasing team

Experience / qualifications of Shift Engineer:

* Experienced electrically biased maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment
* City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualified at a minimum
* Team player, willing to drive other staff in delivering the customer's requirements
* Highly motivated and flexible to deal with constantly changing demands with a fast-paced production environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
