Acorn is currently looking for a Sage Accounts/Payroll Administrator in Newport
Salary: £14.93 per hour
Contract: Temporary to permanent full time
Monday to Thursday 9am to 4.30pm, Friday 9am to 4pm
We are seeking a person with knowledge of Sage Accounts/Payroll with computer skills to help work alongside another employee in a busy office.
The role will be temporary to permanent for the right person, with a annual salary of £24,840 and 28 days holiday (includes 8 bank holidays)
Responsibilities Include:
* Sage Accounts
* Sales Ledger
* Purchase Ledger
* Bank Reconciliation
* Online banking run (BACS)
* Credit Control
* VAT Returns
* Petty Cash
* Monthly Statements
* File retention monies due in order of request for payment
* Prepare end of year accounts ready for Accountant
* Sage Payroll
* Weekly payroll run - send through to Government Gateway via portal
* Weekly pension assessment - send through via pension portal
* Prepare year end PAYE Administration / Human Resources
Responsibilities:
* Typing quotations/tenders/priced bills
* Typing invoices
* Typing letters
* Answering telephones
* Dealing with and answering emails
Essential Experience Required:
* Sage Accounts/Payroll
* Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Documents, Sheets, etc.)Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. printers, photocopiers etc)
