Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Technical Sales Manager with ink or print based knowledge to join their client, a global manufacturing business.
Covering a northern territory, the purpose of the role is to generate of leads, opportunities and closure of sales with new and existing accounts throughout the UK, to meet the sales targets of Narrow Web (NW). This will encompass a level of technical service support in order to ensure superior customer experience.
You will have account management responsibility for new and existing NW accounts and in order to deliver, there will be regular travel throughout the UK.
Duties will include:
* Delivery of objectives in sales growth, profitability and service concepts with accounts in the designated region.
* Working with the Sales Director and Technical Manager ensuring the products proposed meet the needs and demands of the customer base.
* Develop local account management plans and target customer strategies to deliver market growth.
* Up selling, promotion and recommendation of new and existing Narrow Web products and services and support with the implementation.
* Support product trials, evaluations and deliver technical support when necessary.
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
* Comprehensive industry knowledge within ink, printing consumables and or printing ((Flexographic, Offset, Screen or Gravure).
* Good knowledge of colour theory and ink management tools.
* A proven track record for succeeding with new business growth and strong relationship building skills are also required.
This is a home-based role with weekly travel. Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary is negotiable depending on knowledge and experience to offer.
