We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in Clydach, Swansea for an experienced Welder / Fabricator on a temporary contract, which may become full time.

The Mond Nickel Refinery, owned & operated by Vale Europe recently celebrated 120 years of production, and is one of the world's leading Nickel refineries. Vale are globally one of the world's largest mining companies, with operations in the UK, Asia, the USA and across Europe.


Candidate requirements:

* Must be a time served welder with qualifications and certifications
* Must have pipe welding experience up to 16". Previous codings could be used as reference to competency
* Fabrication experience preferable, must be able to read engineering drawings
* Competent using Oxygen Fuel burning equipment
* Mig, TIG, Stick welding experience
* Must have basic mechanical fitting experience
* Must hold UK driving licence


Basic hours are 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday however you will require a flexible approach to working hours as you may be requested on call outs, break downs & outages.

This is a temporary position covering long - term sickness; but may become long term for the right candidate.
