Steel Erectors Wanted!


Are you an experienced Steel Erector? We're looking for skilled individuals for our progressive and well-established client who is based in Quedgeley, Gloucester.


Experts in this field who fabricate and erect steel structures to the highest standards, across the UK and beyond.


The successful candidate will be a hard-working, dedicated individual, with the skills, qualifications, and experience that make them an ideal resource for our operations.


You will have experience of erecting structural steel frames and building steelwork, plus experience of working at height.


You should also have a good knowledge of handling, fixing, and welding steelworks.


You will join an experienced team of professionals who amongst other things, collectively are responsible for manufacturing, designing, constructing, and erecting steel structures.


Working both outdoors and inside workshops, with a high attention to detail, you need to be comfortable taking orders from supervisors and have excellent communication skills.


Skills and experience required:


* Steel Erecting experience is essential

* Experienced and comfortable working at height

* Knowledge and experience of structural steel frames

* Good knowledge of welding and cutting techniques

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Ability to use hand and power tools

* Good organizational and interpersonal skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Good problem solver / be able to think on your feet
