Job description
Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Administrator to join their client, a chemical manufacturer and supplier based in Runcorn on a 3 month contract.
The purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the purchasing team allowing the team to focus on procurement and sourcing of chemicals for business units and supplier management worldwide as well as UK based suppliers.
Key duties will include:
- Responsibility for purchasing of specific packaging.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure all necessary supplier paperwork is obtained.
- Manage internal communication with all colleagues and our business sites regarding delivery of goods to site.
- Ensure all invoice queries are resolved.
It is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience within an administrator role, experience of the procurement and supply chain function, commercial purchasing, sourcing of new products and/or suppliers and stock management would be beneficial.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35hrs per week with the option to work hybrid.
The position is a 3mth FTC
