We are currently searching for a full time Facilities supervisor to join the team based in Loughborough Hospital, this is an ongoing temporary position. You will assist the Facilities Co-ordinator in the day to day running of the multi-skilled Facilities Department, ensuring effective utilisation of resources.

A DBS is required for this role, therefore you must be able to complete full vetting.

Working Hours: 37.5 per week. 0700 - 1530 & 1200 - 2000

Location : Loughborough

Pay rate : Band 3

Pre AWR - Days £10.42, Nights & Saturday £14.07, Sunday & Bank Holiday £17.61

Post AWR - Days £12.45, Nights & Saturday £16.80, Sunday & Bank Holidat £21.03

Duties but not limited to

Monitor cleanliness standards to ensure the latest national standards are adhered to

Ensuring the timely and correct performance of routine and periodic cleaning duties in line with agreed service specification

Conducting daily ward and kitchen rounds to ensure facilities standards are being adhered

Ensure staff adhere to COSHH policies and procedures

Assist in all Facilities tasks in hands on capacity when required

To source and order goods or services in line with best practice and procedure. Undertake stock control, monitoring progress of orders, dealing with discrepancies and maintaining records of all purchases to ensure that invoice scan be reconciled.

To record, complete and approve duty rotas, time sheets and maintenance of staff records including control of overtime, additional hours

To support the Facilities Co-ordinator with the line management of the facilities staff (including disciplinary, managing absence and attendance, grievance, recruitment and selection, appraisals, mandatory training compliance).

Ensure that all equipment and materials are kept clean and in a good state of repair, reporting defects immediately using agreed system and ensuring that they are available to use in the quickest time possible
