We are seeking a motivated and inspired individual to join our expanding team. Do you have what it takes to remain objective during difficult conversations, and focused on the end goal?
Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for a Telephone Collections Agent to join a well-established collections business based in Truro, Cornwall, on a permanent basis. Telephone experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
As a 'Trainee Collections Agent' you will communicate with our clients' customers in order to agree outstanding resolutions to their arrears. You will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts which will be worked effectively.
The candidate should be able to converse clearly and demonstrate empathy to customers in difficult circumstances, putting both the customer and the clients' needs at the forefront of every conversation. Do you have a positive mindset and determination to exceed set targets? The ideal candidate will be excited by a challenge and be willing to improve on their skills throughout your career.
Full training is provided, consisting of up to 12 weeks in our dedicated development team. Here you will be trained how to speak with control and direction, and with an empathetic approach towards our customers. To uphold our clients reputation and brand throughout our customers journey. Ensuring that you meet and exceed our regulation and compliance standards.
A competitive starting rate of £12.50ph and uncapped commission.
Responsibilities:
*Contact customers with outstanding arrears and negotiate payment terms and schedules.
*Manage own portfolio of customer accounts.
*Strict adherence to compliance and core standards of our clients and regulators.
*Work towards and exceed weekly targets to gain commission.
*Operate independently in a team environment.
*Attend educational programs and training sessions for professional growth and personal development, including updates to industry regulations and company policies.
Person SpecificationL
*Demonstrated skills in negotiating and resolving conflict.
*A positive outlook when dealing with a difficult situation.
*Drive to meet weekly sales goals.
*Ability to speak persuasively and give clear transparent information.
*Telephone experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
*Accurate data entry skills.
*Basic level of IT skills required.
Pay and Rewards:
*Significant opportunity to increase your base rate up to £25ph.
*Competitive commission-based reward structure in addition to salary. OTE £45,000+.

*Regular ad-hoc incentives alongside commission structure.
*3rd party training courses.

Salary: From £25,200.00 per year
