We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer/Fitter to join our clients team based in Tiverton. Working closely with the engineering team, you'll be responsible for general machine assembly, accurate alignment and settings of working assemblies, assembly of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits/systems, machine start-ups and testing, and more.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your abilities and hone your skills a growing engineering team. You'll be expected to work to tight deadlines, ensuring the precision and quality of the machine assembly is to the highest of standards.


The Ideal Candidate:

Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, and hold a BTEC or City & Guilds level 3 qualification in an engineering based subject.


Experience in the following areas will also be an advantage:

* Working with industrial machinery
* Interpretation of engineering drawings
* Accurate alignment and settings of working assemblies
* Assembly of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits/systems
* Overseeing maintenance and repair of machinery.

Hours Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 & Friday 08:00-13:30
