Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join their client's team. They are a well-established accountancy practice located in Bradley Stoke, with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing top-notch financial services to clients.

Job Description:


As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the success of our company by providing expert financial advice and services to clients. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including small businesses, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring their financial affairs are handled efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients
  • Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Oversee and train junior accountants on client engagements
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and strategies for clients
  • Conduct thorough and accurate tax planning and preparation for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry developments
  • Collaborate with partners and team members to achieve company goals

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Extensive experience in an accountancy practice
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
