Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a public sector client for a temporary facilities crew member to cover staff absences due to sickness and holidays.

The temporary worker will assist the Estates Project Manager by managing day-to-day facilities services.

Responsibilities include supervising internal support staff and external contractors, performing general caretaking and handyperson duties, providing portering and maintenance support, and setting up conference rooms (including emergency out-of-hours coverage) as instructed by the line manager.

Additionally, the role involves supporting the Estates Department's business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring the site remains a safe and efficient working environment for members, staff, and visitors.

The position is Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with a pay rate of £15.63 per hour.
