Acorn by Synergie is excited to be recruiting a highly organised Project Engineer for a global pharmaceutical manufacturer at their North Devon site.



Main Scope of the role


To provide project management and technical engineering support to the site through the development and execution of capital projects. Additionally, provide technical expertise during problem solving within the Facilities Engineering Department.



Key Responsibilities


* Independently lead capital projects from planning through execution to handover, managing project scope, plan, budget and resource. This will involve leading multifunctional teams made up of internal and external subject matter experts.
* Communicate project progress and any potential issues to key stakeholders across the business, including locally and to corporate.
* Responsible for successful completion of capital projects to budget and plan.
* Maintain project budget trackers and forecast future spend, working with the Finance Department to report the results to Global Engineering.
* Manage processing of orders relating to capital projects.
* Support the Validation Department in the preparation and execution of equipment and process validation protocols.
* Write technical reports on a wide range of subjects to support quality or operational decisions related to site services.
* Support completion of Quality Event and CAPA investigations and generation of corrective actions relating to Facilities Engineering equipment
* Troubleshoot operational and design issues relating to Facilities Engineering equipment.
* To undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time to support the business.


Essential Skills and Experience

* Degree in a relevant engineering discipline required, with relevant professional experience ideally in a pharma manufacturing environment.
* Ideally you will have a recognised project management certification and have experience managing engineering projects.
* Experience with industrial building services preferred.
* Proficient in the use of CAD drawing software, preferably AutoCAD
