Acorn by Synergie is looking for Production Operatives on permanent basis on behalf of their client, a major manufacturing company located in Wigan, WN3

Hours of work are 4 on 4 off comprising of 2 x 12 hour days followed by 2 x 12 hour nights 7-7

The hourly rate starts at £12.20 and increases to £12.44 per hour after 3 months service on site

Duties will include:

* Conduct and improve line setup and changeovers
* Consistently ensure optimum food safety, including correct segregation of allergens
* Ensure safe working practice whilst maintaining CCP and PPE compliance
* Assist with shift handovers and team briefs ensuring maximum efficiency and communication
* Monitor business waste, and compile and implement solutions to reduce waste
* General housekeeping

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous manufacturing / machine operation experience
* Understand food hygiene and HACCP standards
* Have strong problem-solving skills
* Be comfortable working within time constraints and able to meet deadlines
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be able to work within different areas (as per business needs)
* Have a hands-on, can-do attitude
* Have worked a 4 on 4 off shift pattern previously
