Job Title - Site Manager

Location - Central Bristol, BS1

Starting 23rd Sept with 18 weeks work on offer. with a prospect of further projects thereafter.

Acorn by Synergie are in the market for a site manager for 5 months in central Bristol.

This scheme is centred around decommissioning and replacement of existing plant at an office head quarters in central Bristol, in order to meet local and national carbon and climate change commitments.

Specifically updating chillers, dry coolers, heat and chilled water pumps.

The Role:-

• Ensure site setup correctly in basement plant room, roof etc. ensuring working areas are segregated from site users. Ensure any appropriate fencing, barriers, signage, first aid facilities etc. are in place.
• Liaise with BCC site staff on daily basis to ensure all are aware of construction activities each day. Co-ordinate safe access to work areas for BCC staff activities.
• Carry out all subcontractor site inductions
• Review subcontractor RAMS
• Manage the H&S on site, including issue of permits as required
• Carry out weekly H&S site inspections (on PROCORE)
• Maintain site records and documentation
• Act as site first aider
• Record incidents and accidents and follow reporting procedures
• Monitor site progress
• Weekly progress and H&S report to Project Manager
• Take daily site photos (upload to PROCORE)
• Attend site meetings

• Carry out work inspections and quality checks in conjunction with project engineer
• Make sure M&V checks done and sheets completed

The person:-

• Minimum 2 years construction site management experience
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid trained, preferably FAW
• M&E experience/knowledge preferable but not essential
